Waking up every 2 hours
ive been working 4.30-8.30am 5 days a week and night school 4.30pm-10pm 3 days a week. ive been sleeping in between. Now I cant sleep properly. Ive probably only been doing this for about 4-6 weeks. I dont think it was a problem originally when I only slept from 9am-4pm but I recently started to sleep between 10pm and 4am. Like when I deprived myself of sleep for those 3 days it was alright Id still sleep in full blocks of like 4 or 6 hours and on those other 4 days I slept about 10 hours. Any tips to getting back into sleeping in proper blocks. I assume this is better quality sleep.
I think my natural sleep pattern is 3am-1pm

- Try establishing a good sleep hygiene routine. Other than that it is extremely difficult to easy regulate long term sleep distrubances. As a mother of a young child and a graduate student I can sympatize with things that interrupt your normal sleep patterns. My husband has trouble resetting. I just crash and slowly shift my sleep schedule back into position.

You have to follow a regular sleeping pattern.Don't change your sleeping time.Try to sleep from 10 - 6 pm.Try to maintain that regular sleeping pattern.Then you can have a normal and peaceful sleep.#2; Tue, 18 Dec 2007 17:44:00 GMT
- i should be alright in 4 weeks when my schedule is easier.
so if i had a choice between 10pm-4am(ie. 6 hours) or 9am-4pm(ie. 7 hours)
